Jason Wyrick

Jason Wyrick is the Executive Chef of The Vegan Taste, a company which delivers fresh vegan and organic meals across Arizona. He is also the co-author of 21 Day Weight Loss Kickstart and Vegan Tacos. He was the first vegan instructor to teach in the Le Cordon Bleu program and publisher of the world’s first vegan food magazine, The Vegan Culinary Experience. Dotsie Bausch

An Olympic silver medalist in cycling, 7-time U.S. National Champion, former world record holder and two-time Pan American gold medal winner, Dotsie Bausch has transitioned from professional athlete to influential advocate in sports technology, health, wellness and animal rights. In 2016, ChooseVeg.com voted Dotsie Bausch as one of the 20 Badass Veg Women Who Are Making History! She is a vociferous supporter and volunteer at Mercy for Animals and is in the midst of creating an educational, adventure-based reality TV show that follows the anatomy of farm animal rescue. She just launched her own animal rights protection organization, Silver Lining Animal Rescue (www.sliverliningrescue.org) that focuses on shining a light on the truth, educating humans on the immense and widespread suffering of farm animals and on teaching each person the unique power they hold inside to impact others. John Lewis

John Lewis has spent over a decade in the health and fitness industry and played Division I College basketball. One of the nation's top fitness consultants, he develops personalized lifestyle plans for actors, models, and business professionals. He is the founder of Bad Ass Vegan, which strives to educate individuals on plant-based nutrition. He also developed “VeganSmart,” a plant-based protein shake. His other business ventures include a cruelty-free clothing line, a gaming app, a television documentary, and a cookbook.

I just wanted to take a moment to let everyone know that [the organizers] did an amazing job. This was our first time being involved and I was really impressed. I thought the show was well done, and all the guests I talked to had an amazing time. I was so happy to be a part of this event, and I look forward to next year’s!

Events like these make me even more happy than usual to be a vegan. It’s so great to be surrounded by so many like-minded people, and also eat until I nearly fall over.
